DGA Website-Evaluate l
My evaluation of my groups end product was positive. I believe that we worked hard creating our website but we could have made other more significant changes to make the website seam more professional. Although we did not meet the expectations that we had set at the beginning. We received a high evaluation both by our peers and our self evaluations. The intended audience is for teens and adults who are looking for information about teen bullycide. We also applied some information for people who might need the support in bulling. For the Investigation Cycle I helped fined more information on teen bullycide that we could use on our website. I put in effort to finding the information. For the Design cycle i contributed part of the design for the website, only my templet was chosen to be part of the website but it was a significant contribution. For the Creating Cycle i created a lot of the website choosing and posting blogs that might be useful to people. I made a great contribution to creating the website. With the creation of this website i learned how to use Google sites. This helped me create my website and it will help me in the future if i am ever interested.

DGA Website-Create
In order to create our final website product we used the template designs and other tools that Google sites provided for us. We were able to post our video unto the project and provide a presentation powered by Picasa. We decided to incorporate a more modern template design into our project to attract the attention of more people. We came across some difficulty trying to get all the team members to contribute to the creation of our website so we had to modify part of our outline and who was going to create certain parts of the website. Overall we came through with almost everything that we wanted to incorporate into out website. I wanted to add a forum where people could talk to us and hold online discussions. Unfortunately we were unable to set up the account because of the lack of knowledge on how to set it up and make it work correctly. So instead we added blogs where people who visit our site can comment and attach some of their own information. We had a variety of resources to our disposal, we were able to accomplish everything we wanted except for the forum but all the resources were provided by Google sites. The quality of our product is fair we could have added more pictures to our website and possibly more information. We also had some trouble with the computers displaying all of our information so that was also a huge set back. Other that that I am pretty pleased with the website.

Public Service Announcement- Plan
For our design plan Bryan, David, Andrea and Ruby will be charge of creating and contributing the ideas that we had already made for our website. The decisions that they make will be voted on as a group to have a fair design. Christine and I will be in charge of gathering links and extra information to include on the website to make a greater awarnes for teen bullycide. Bryan and I will also be in charge of gathering videos from other sites and other psa’s to include on our web site. During the week of the 11th through the 15th, Andrea Christine and I will go over all the designs made during the first week, while David, Ruby, and Andrea help include more information into the site. Andrea and I will be in charge of filling out the “About Us” section of the website. Christine will be in charge of creating the Video and Link section. Ruby will be in charge of filling out the “What is Bullycide?” section. Christine will also be supervising everyone in the group to make sure everyone stays focused. Our calendar refused to upload, so to summarize we will finish creating the site on the 1st, we will gather and input information and implement the design the week of the 4th and finish the site the week of the 11th. The last week will be reserved for last minute design modifications.

Website - Investigation
Our topic to cover is teen bullycide which is when teens are bullied to the point where they commit suicide. Currently bullycide occupies the third leading cause of death in American teens. Its more than just a problem, its becoming an epidemic that could be stopped or halted. This is a current issue where we as Americans need to focus on.
We got most of our information from suicide lines, or websites. Some websites we also smaller non funded organizations. They we started by parents of kids who have suffered from teen bullycide. The information we tried to verify it with other sources so we could back up our information.
To evaluate our PSA and the specifications needed we will create a design in which we organize all the information.

DGA - Public Service Announcement - Evaluate
Our PSA was a success because our video demonstrated a clear understanding of what we were trying to get across. It also got to the viewers emotions which is what our initial goal was in order to convey our message. For this project we received as a group a 97.
For the investigation cycle I helped provide information about bullycide. This helped my team have a view of what we wanted to present to our viewers. In the Design cycle I provided a clear view of my "vision" for the clip with my team mates ideas and thoughts. After the design was chosen we began to plan out our PSA and get all the materials we needed to create our product. After we had everything we began to create our project and film it in school. I directed the video while Christine was the producer and Bryan, Andrea and Ruby were actors. Christine put together the whole PSA with our ideas in mined and suggestions. When our viewers viewed the PSA they evaluated out PSA.
Through this I learned a great deal about bullycide and we also helped teach others about the awareness of people who are bullied in school. This may help create awareness on the student population of what their actions can create.

DGA - Public Service Announcement - Create
In order to create our PSA we had to use a video camera and iMovie as our equipment. We also used our actors (team members). Bryan was our lead actor he was the victim and David was the Bully. Andrea and Ruby also did smaller actor rolls in bullying. We had to use actor techniques and with my vision on how i was directing the film we created our PSA.
We wanted the video to be where the victim was bullied until he committed suicide. Some modifications we made to the PSA were the hanging scene. We were initially going to shoot the film in front of the freshman building but w ended up doing it at the playground. This gave it more significance because it showed his childhood coming to an end.
We used iMovie to complete our PSA in order to create our finished product. This made the video a lot more professional because we were able to hide the voices in the ending and put the song. We were also able to use the focusing on the camera so it looked more professional.

Public Servie Announcement-Planning (suicide)
Our story board consists of a video that will be shown as part of our clip. It will take place outside a library and a kid will get bullied. Then with effects we will show if was just a dream. We will show statistics and a memory case to all those who have passed away because of bullycide, Phoebe Prince and those who have attempted suicide. When creating the video all out team mates will be part of it and we will work together so the song and the timing of the video is precise and we can capture our viewers attention. We are making it like an awareness campaign so people know bullycide and suicide in general has become an epidemic in this country and something needs to be done. Then the statistics and memorial will be done by Andrea Garrigos with special effects.
We were able to put our ideas together and create a better story board. We really didn't make any modifications because we incorporated everyone ideas into our project.
